With IKAN HYU, Hannah and Anisa are redefining what a two-piece band can be. They don’t just play guitar or sing—they play everything. Unsurprisingly, their album *WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS*, set for release in September 2026, further expands their genre-spanning musical universe while conveying the same message: Creativity is freedom, and freedom is meant to be shared.

Ten years after their formation, IKAN HYU are releasing their second album: WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS. In keeping with this anniversary—which sees IKAN HYU celebrating not only their musical evolution but also their time together as a duo—a key theme of the album is friendship and how one can lose oneself within it and find oneself again. With their new album, IKAN HYU delve into a complex emotional landscape, singing about themes such as distance and closeness, breaking free from addictive thought patterns, and a sense of belonging.
