Im Kampf gegen pseudowissenschaftlichen Unfug

Literature and Its Intermediaries
with Maximilian Doeckel, Moderated by Tilman Rau

The Earth is, without a doubt, flat. – I have proof of contact with the afterlife.
– My dietary supplements improve well-being and even cure cancer. On the internet, just about anyone can claim just about anything. Many people take advantage of this right. And that’s where Maximilian Doeckel comes in. Doeckel is a science journalist who sees his mission as investigating scientific myths and debunking pseudoscientific nonsense. Together with his colleague Jonathan Focke, Maximilian Doeckel has been hosting the WDR podcast “Quarks Science Cops” for over five years. In a conversation with Tilman Rau, a lecturer in journalistic writing at the Literaturhaus Stuttgart, Maximilian offers a behind-the-scenes look at his work.
