Experience an evening of intimate stories and unexpected laughs as Iranian storyteller Sahand Sahebdivani and Israeli storyteller Raphael Rodan return to the stage.

Linked by a deep, decades-long friendship, they share personal stories rooted in conflict, connection and love. Together they visit "the house where their mothers grew up" - an imaginary home under the mulberry tree where memories, myths and identity are intertwined. With humor, heart and a touch of rebellion, they offer a rare glimpse into what happens when two unlikely friends choose stories over silence. Join us under the shade of the mulberry tree - and see what grows there. The stories are accompanied by the angelic singing of Mary Aygetsy, who brings Armenian folk songs to life.

Raphael Rodan was born in Israel and is a theater maker and storyteller who now lives in the Netherlands. He trained at the School of Speech and Drama (Harduf) and the Actors Temple in London. He is known for his personal and mythical narratives that connect shared identities.

Sahand Sahebdivani is a Dutch-Iranian storyteller, founder of the Mezrab House of Stories in Amsterdam. His work deals with exile, heritage and collective memory.

Mary Aygetsy grew up in Armenia, surrounded by a rich musical heritage from her family of musicians. She immersed herself in the world of music from a young age, singing Armenian folk songs and in the local church choir. Her passion for traditional music led her to co-found the Shushiki Band, a trio that performs internationally. In addition to performing, Mary enjoys conducting choirs and sharing her love of Armenian music and culture.
