The ecumenical boys' choir collegium iuvenum Stuttgart is supported by a non-profit association. It continues the tradition of Christian boys' choirs in the 21st century. A particular strength of the choir lies in its broad repertoire, which includes works of sacred choral music from the Renaissance to modern times. The choir is organized in the form of a choir school and systematically works with young talent, but is not associated with a boarding school.
With its excellent musical quality, the collegium iuvenum Stuttgart helps to shape the cultural life of the state capital Stuttgart and the surrounding region and regularly presents itself nationally and internationally on annual concert tours. The young choristers have been invited to France, Spain, Austria, Scandinavia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Italy, Switzerland, Argentina, Canada and the USA.
The choir rehearses at the Domsingschule Stuttgart, which is also home to the professionally managed choir office. Sebastian Kunz has been the choir's artistic director since May 2022.
