Ten evenings, ten shows, ten cities! - Jan Böhmermann and the Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld rise up, break out of "ZDF Magazin Royale" and hit the road from January 19, 2027 with their new live show "Auf! Up! Ehrenfeld!" on tour in Germany.
First-class satirical-political revue, subversive show, pointed poetry and outstanding live music: Jan Böhmermann and the Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld fuse everything in their new radically forward-looking show, which doesn't avoid the dark present, but instead throws itself at it with a laugh and a run-up.
"The enemies of reason are loud. The enemies of joy are organized. The enemies of free thought have stamina. But we have the Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld - and we're really up for it," says Jan Böhmermann, looking forward to his fifth tour with the Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld in 2027. "Keeping your head down is not an option. The only thing that helps against the seeping poison of fear is to forge ahead and have fun! Let's go! Let's go! On the offensive! It's going to be a fantastic show!"
Jan Böhmermann has hosted the award-winning political satire show "ZDF Magazin Royale" every week since 2013 and, together with Olli Schulz, has hosted the Spotify podcast "fest & flauschig" since 2016 - one of the
most-listened-to podcasts in the world. Jan Böhmermann is a seven-time winner of the Grimme Prize, has been awarded the German Television Prize six times, the Rose d'Or as "Entertainer of the Year", the Romy, the Bavarian Television Prize, the Venus Sex Award 2022 and many more.
The 15-piece Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld (RTO) under the direction of Lorenz Rhode is considered the best radio orchestra in continental Europe. It was founded in 2016, has been playing live on "ZDF Magazin Royale" every week since 2017 and will be celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2026. The RTO has already played together with many well-known national and international artists such as Lizzo, Stromae, SSIO, Father John Misty, Placebo, Woodkid, Lola Young, Herbert Grönemeyer, Tokio Hotel, Nina Chuba, Kraftklub and many, many more...
From January 19 to February 2, 2027, Jan Böhmermann and the Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld will be performing at "Auf! On! Ehrenfeld" in ten cities across Germany.
