She really brings the house down! That’s the name of the award-winning solo act with which Jane Mumford swept the Swiss Comedy Awards in 2025. In it, the Swiss cabaret artist with British roots explores the human condition. From the absurd challenges we face to our mortality, which we must learn to live with. She uses puberty as a metaphor—a time when all crises come to a head—and reveals that she herself was a tap-dancing goth. No matter how you spent your adolescence, this stand-up comedian’s performances are in a league of their own. Extraordinary and excellent.
