Double bassist Jens Loh has been one of the most sought-after bassists in modern jazz for many years. He has worked on a wide variety of projects with renowned musicians from the German and international scene and impresses with a warm, sustainable tone, stylistic sovereignty and a deep understanding of swing and form.
The expressive saxophonist Jan Prax is an exceptional talent and one of the most distinctive voices of his generation. During his career, he has played with renowned jazz musicians such as David Sanborn, Gene Lake, Riccardo del Fra and Kurt Rosenwinkel and is known for his powerful yet lyrical tone and strong rhythmic presence. Especially in the context of jazz standards, he combines tradition with a very personal signature.

On the piano, Thilo Wagner provides elegance, harmonic sophistication and drive. He has been a sought-after pianist for many years and has worked with well-known representatives of German and international jazz, among others. His playing is deeply rooted in the swing tradition and at the same time open to modern accents.

Patrick Manzecchi on drums is one of the most versatile drummers on the scene. He has already performed on stage with numerous renowned jazz musicians and is known for his stylistically confident, extremely musical playing - from finely nuanced brush swing to energetic groove. On this evening, the quartet dedicates itself to swinging jazz standards, which are reinterpreted with joy of playing, respect for tradition and lively interaction.
