Keynote speech and discussion
The resistance fighter Josef Wirmer prepared a new national flag in the event of the success of July 20, 1944. It was to stand for the creation of a new democratic Germany. Today, right-wing extremists are instrumentalizing this flag, which is also known as the Stauffenberg flag. Historian Maria-Magdalena Köhler and right-wing extremism expert Timo Büchner will explain more about this.
