Jubiläumskonzert 130-Jahre Kantorei

Works by the Mendelssohn siblings will be performed at the 130th anniversary concert of the S-Vaihingen choir. In addition to the well-known Psalm 42 "Wie der Hirsch schreit", you will hear Psalm 95 "Kommt lasst uns anbeten" and Psalm 98 "Singet dem Herrn", as well as "Verleih uns Frieden" by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy. The program is rounded off with "Lobgesang - Meine Seele ist stille" by his sister Fanny Hensel, born Mendelssohn. Performers are the Kantorei S-Vaihingen, Collegium Instrumentale of the Stadtkirche, concertmaster Adelheid Abt, Sarah Böhm and Nora B. Hagen (soprano), Denise Bentz (alto), Dennis Marr and Andreas Weller (tenor), Simon Amend and Matias Bocchio (bass), conducted by Cantor Lucia Müller
