Jubiläumskonzert - 75 Jahre Orchester Stuttgarter Musikfreunde
- Location:
- Kultur- und Kongresszentrum Liederhalle Mozart-Saal, Berliner Platz 1, 70174 Stuttgart
After 20 years, the Stuttgarter Musikfreunde orchestra is returning to the cultural life of Stuttgart city center.
There will be an anniversary concert in Stuttgart's Liederhalle to mark its 75th anniversary. The program is something to see and hear on such an anniversary:
Carl-Maria von Weber's Freischütz Overture opens the evening. This is followed by the ever-famous Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in G major KV 216 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with soloist Prof. Christine Busch, and the orchestra concludes with Antonin Dvorak's Symphony No. 9, taking new and exciting paths into the future.
Klaus Kulling has been the orchestra's musical director for 15 years now and has shaped it into an ensemble of over 50 musicians who feel at home in the classical and romantic concert literature. However, it also does not shy away from opera, operetta, musicals and film music. Oratorios and other choral works are also frequently performed as accompanists for large choirs.
Our concert is generously sponsored by the Ehrmann Foundation.
