She received her training from the age of 5 in Leipzig, where she still studies today. In 2024, she made her debut as a soloist with the Gewandhaus Orchestra in Mendelssohn's Concerto for Violin (Frank-Michael Erben), Piano and Orchestra. She has also worked closely with the MDR Symphony Orchestra Leipzig for several years. Since 2023, she has been a permanent chamber music partner of the Gewandhaus Orchestra's 1st concertmaster Frank-Michael Erben. Together with him and members of the Stuttgart Philharmonic, she will perform a program of works from Paris between 1891 (Chausson) and 1933 (Stravinsky).

Charlotte Steppes will also perform Mozart's Piano Concerto KV 451 on June 19 in the Classical Highlights series.
