Katelyn Emerson is a concert organist and educator with expertise in music psychology and ergonomics. She is currently completing her doctorate at the University of Cambridge (UK). "Her programs and playing style testify to a profound knowledge of historical performance practice and a swing that can only be described as perfect," wrote Musica Sacra. Her multinational program also has swing - we hear music from the 19th and 20th centuries by such extraordinary composers as the British conductor and suffragette Ethel Smyth (1858-1944) or the Dutch composer Ad Wammes (*1953), whose oeuvre ranges from concert pieces for keyboard instruments to stage and film music.
