Katja Berlin

Location:
Renitenztheater, Büchsenstr. 26, 70174 Stuttgart

Katja Berlin will once again embark on a major tour of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in the fall of 2026 with her hit series “Die Torten der Wahrheit” (The Cakes of Truth). Her new stage show centers on her latest book, “Wann eine Idee für gut befunden wird” (When an Idea Is Deemed Good).
For years, Katja Berlin has been delighting an audience of millions with her legendary pie charts. What began as satirical infographics has long since evolved into a stage format all its own: clever, incisive, surprisingly political—and always deeply funny.
Her latest book, “Wann eine Idee für gut befunden wird,” collects Katja Berlin’s most recent socially critical graphics on the major issues of our time: the shift to the right, the climate crisis, misogyny, the dismantling of social services, and why online shopping is so annoying.
She now brings these topics live to the stage—with new diagrams, sharp wit, and keen observational skills. Blending statistics, satire, and self-deprecating humor, she breaks down decision-making processes, majority opinions, and social dynamics into their individual components. What looks sober turns out to be a highly comical analysis of our times.
“The Pies of Truth” 2026 promises an evening full of clever punchlines, surprising shifts in perspective, and very clear pie charts. A show for everyone who wants to know how we can keep our sense of humor in times of crisis.
The 2026 tour takes Katja to 14 cities, including Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Vienna, and Zurich. Tickets for “The Cakes of Truth” are available and promise an evening that alternates between punchlines and political insights, with a clear-eyed look at what we as a society accept as “true”—or do not. The show is aimed at anyone who wants to question themselves and our shared reality—and have a laugh in the process.
