At night, Carlo observes the moon through his telescope. He wonders why the moon has so many holes—“Is it maybe made of cheese?” His mom laughs: “People sometimes say that. But it’s just a fairy tale.” Carlo, however, wants to know for sure. With a homemade rocket, he sets off on a fantastic journey to the moon. There, he has all sorts of adventures to overcome and meets a very helpful moon mouse and a somewhat crazy professor along the way. Will Carlo manage to return safely to Earth and surprise his mother with a piece of the moon?
