This lecture for children aged 8 to 12, given by Prof. Dr. Georg Petschenka, Department of Applied Entomology, University of Hohenheim, is about understanding what role insects play for our planet.
The reasons why there are fewer and fewer insects will be discussed and it will be explained what happens when bees, wasps and butterflies disappear from our world. It will be shown what we humans can do to protect the habitat of insects.
Participation in the children's university is free of charge. However, registration is required due to the limited number of places!
The lecture is especially for children, therefore only children can be registered without parents/adult accompanying persons.
