The middle-class Drayton family from San Francisco would describe themselves as cosmopolitan and liberal. What the Draytons still lack for perfect family happiness is a happily married daughter. So mother Christina is beside herself with excitement when her Joey announces after a Hawaiian vacation that she wants to marry a doctor.
