A rousing collection of musical stories: what could be better than listening to good music and reading great comics at the same time?
The illustrators and authors Anke Kuhl and Moni Port have invited some of the best comic and children's book illustrators to join them in transforming a colorful selection of German-language songs into comics. Sometimes funny, sometimes atmospheric: the comics are as diverse as the interpreted music. From pop and rock to jazz and chanson to classical music - everything is allowed except boredom! The stories in the book and the accompanying Spotify playlist invite children to immerse themselves in pictures and music and make lots of new discoveries. We ask ourselves: How do you draw music? And what do the song comics trigger in me? Music and lyrics by Die Ärzte, Ludwig van Beethoven, Max Raabe and Olli Schulz, among others. Comics by Nadia Budde, Rotraut Susanne Berner, Axel Scheffler and Jörg Mühle, among others.
