The children of these days create the sound of the present with their own power. Their identity is both analog and digital. It seeks utopia and yet it loses itself.

Klebstoff is a duo from Tyrol (Austria) that moves between influences of synth-pop and minimal wave. With their first full-length album "Komplex", which was released on the Turin-based DIY label Stanze Fredde, Maximilian Hofer and Laurin Martinek pay homage to early works of synth-pop while presenting a contemporary project in every respect. The songs are indicators of the state of mind of modern existence, told in the language of sparkling analog synthesizers. The duo displays a distinct pop sensibility with an honest DIY attitude. Their live performances deliver hectic drum sequences, hypnotic basslines and dreamy synth melodies that effortlessly liven up dancefloors with the interplay of soft vocals and a strong visual component.

artnyk is the solo music project of Nico Maurice Dvorak, an artist from Stuttgart.

artnyk's pieces are characterized by distorted melodies, supported by full, pressing synth basses. They are driven by banging drums that combine influences from punk to new wave to industrial with occasional elements of various EDM subgenres. A regular use of hazy field recordings and other ambient sounds creates an obscure, surreal atmosphere. To round things off, the constantly distorted, monotonously spoken vocals, which deal with personal and political topics, sometimes strikingly, sometimes cryptically, breathe an aggressive and infectious energy into the whole that leaves a unique impression.
