St. Nicholas concert with Reni and Boka

What happens when a clarinettist who actually plays contemporary and experimental music meets a rhythm-loving world traveler with a Brazilian groove? Exactly: it sparks - musically! Reni and Boka have been setting their stories to music since 2022, sometimes with improvisational elements, sometimes with polyphonic melodies, and their concerts go just as well with the smell of cookies as they do with stage lights.
Reni studied clarinet at the Budapest Academy of Music and works on interactive music programs on the side. She also plays in the Bélaműhely, where instruments are made from recycled materials - garbage rarely sounds so good!
Boka spent 13 years traveling the world musically - he even sang with Bobby McFerrin in Brazil. He has released songs with the popular Hungarian folk singers Bea Palya and Ági Szalóki and composed countless catchy tunes.
So: oil up your voices, prick up your ears - and get ready for a St. Nicholas concert with heart, brain and humor!
