Youssef Maghrebi is an actor, theater educator and social worker. For many years, he has combined artistic work with social commitment and is particularly committed to empowering children, teenagers and young adults.
As an actor, he has appeared in front of the camera and on stage in film, television and theater productions. His work is characterized by authenticity, presence and the ability to combine social issues with humour, depth and humanity.
In addition to his artistic work, Youssef Maghrebi develops and leads educational theater workshops, school projects and creative educational programs on topics such as self-confidence, body language, democracy education, violence prevention and changing perspectives. His projects create spaces in which people can find their voice, discover their strengths and develop new perspectives.
In his solo program "Kopf hoch", he deals with personal experiences, social observations and questions of identity, belonging and cohesion. With humor, self-irony and emotional depth, he tells stories that are touching, thought-provoking and get people talking to each other.
His work has taken him to schools, youth centers, cultural institutions and social institutions. He combines the expressive power of theater with pedagogical experience and social responsibility.
