Aisata Blackman is an internationally successful musical actress and singer with Caribbean roots. She became known through international gospel and soul tours as well as TV formats such as Soundmixshow, Dutch Idol and The Voice of Germany. In Germany, she enjoyed great success in leading roles in well-known musicals such as Sister Act, Bodyguard, Bat out of Hell, Tina - Das Musical, Next to Normal and We Will Rock You. Her portrayals of Deloris van Cartier, Rachel Marron (Whitney Houston) and Tina Turner were particularly influential.
