Listening to Kybba's releases is like an inspiring journey through different musical cultures that have one thing in common: catchy melodies, infectious rhythms and great club vibes. When the Italian DJ and producer Kybba first brought his music, which he himself calls Basshall, to the stage in 2016, he had no idea how big a gap he was closing. His Basshall Party is a dedication to genres such as dancehall, urban, Caribbean and Afro and has long since led to the founding of its own movement: the Basshall Movement with Basshall Records, Basshall TV, the Basshall Party and Basshall Publishing. In 2024, Kybba collaborated with Sean Paul on the single "Ba Ba Bad" and underpinned his position as an outstanding producer of the dancehall genre and urban music. With over 100 million streams on streaming platforms and songs such as "Colombian", "Pon Di Ting" and his current single "Buss A Whine", Kybba has long since outgrown the status of an insider tip. In October and November, the artist will be coming to Germany for six shows and Vienna for one show on his "HOW YOU BAD SUH" ALBUM TOUR with his debut album. Kybba grew up in the Salento region of Italy, but found his home in Amsterdam, where he quickly made a name for himself as a DJ and producer. With the idea of bringing dancehall to Europe and the local club culture, Kybba founded his label Basshall Movement in 2016 and debuted in 2018 with his first single "Dale". This was followed by standout singles such as "Pilot" (2021), "Heavy" (2022), "Con Ton" (2022), "Pon Di Ting" (2023) and "Ba Ba Bad" (2024), which reveal Kybba's musical breadth and diverse influences. His Basshall Party has seen the artist tour worldwide, playing shows in major party culture cities as well as lineups at festivals such as Tomorrowland, Summerjam and Lowlands. With his eternal search for new sounds and exciting musical cultures, Kybba continues to push his creative boundaries and sees himself as a tireless innovator who is constantly looking for new collaborations with talented artists. Now fans worldwide are awaiting the announcement of his first album, which will be presented live under the name "HOW YOU BAD SUH" on his upcoming album tour in fall 2025.
