Harmony reigns in Paimpont, Brittany. The inhabitants include Joelle, the lecturing teacher, Anne, the owner of the supermarket who loves an aperitif, Hervé, the Alsatian plumber who is more Breton than the Bretons, and Johnny, the parking attendant who is a fan of Johnny. In a great show of solidarity, they vote enthusiastically in favor of accepting Ukrainian refugees. Only the refugees arriving are not from Ukraine, but from Syria. And some in this charming little Breton village are not very positive about the arrival of their new neighbors. Who are the barbarians here?
