A musical and literary evening with Wolfgang Seibold and András Lakatos

On the occasion of Franz Liszt's birthday, Liszt researcher Wolfgang Seibold provides an insight into some fascinating anecdotes from the composer's life. The stories range from the first story about the five-year-old Liszt to an incident from the last years of his life. In the process, Franz Liszt the man comes to life and some of his most striking character traits are brought to light.
The young Hungarian pianist András Lakatos, who studies at the Stuttgart University of Music and this year won first prize in his age group at the International Robert Schumann Piano Competition as well as the Schumann Special Prize, the EMCY Prize and the Audience Prize, presents works by Liszt, Chopin, Schubert and Hummel.
