The well-rehearsed quartet is well known to the Stuttgart jazz audience. With worldwide concert experience and numerous CD recordings, they dedicate themselves to swing, bebop, bossa, blues and ballads - interpreted from the American songbook, supplemented by Italian songs.
They have known each other for a very long time and have played countless concerts. Neither the band leader nor the other band members need any further introduction to the Stuttgart jazz audience. Together they have recorded hundreds of CDs and performed all over the world.
The quartet's most important elements are swing, mainstream, bebop, bossa, ballads and blues.
The band's repertoire consists of "standards from the American songbook". Italian songs are also performed from time to time.
Line-up:
Lorenzo Petrocca (guitar)
Gerhardt Mornhinweg (TRUMPET)
Yaron Stavi (bass)
Thomas Schäfer (drums).
