After his impressive debut with us, the promising young pianist Lukas Sternath returns. His program is dedicated to the special connection between Franz Schubert and Franz Liszt: Liszt's sensitive arrangements of Schubert songs such as "Der Wanderer", "Frühlingsglaube" or "Auf dem Wasser zu singen" meet Schubert's visionary "Wanderer Fantasy", whose virtuosity had a lasting influence on Liszt. With works from the "Années de pèlerinage", Sternath also opens up a view into Liszt's poetic and virtuoso world of sound. A multi-faceted piano recital between the art of song and pianistic fire.
