At the Leipzig 2024 a cappella competition, Ensemble Luminosa, which was only founded the year before, won two prizes straight away. This speaks for the high quality of the individual voices as well as for a homogeneous, colorful and radiant overall sound that can only be achieved through intensive rehearsals. For their debut concert in the first hour of 2026, the six singers bring us Christmas sounds - in a distinctive mix of well-known carols such as O Holy Night by Adolphe Adam (1803-56) or Silent Night by Franz Xaver Gruber (1787-1863) and new arrangements such as Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.
