With 50 million records sold, Peter Maffay is one of the most successful German-speaking artists. His career began in 1970, and since then every album has achieved at least gold status. In the 56 years of his career, Peter Maffay has experienced and done a lot - reason enough to bring this life to the stage in one entertaining evening.

MAFFAYpur is the most successful tribute to Peter Maffay and consists of live musicians from Germany's best-known pop/rock and Schlager stars. The band is known as a finalist in the SAT.1 show "The Tribute".

MAFFAYpur has created an entertaining program consisting of short read anecdotes, short pieces performed by actors and, of course, lots of music. It tells the story of the career of a tireless artist - with a lot of heart and just as many hits. Here you can find out why the spoken part of "Du" sounds accent-free, how the Tabaluga idea came about, what inspired the song "Steppenwolf" and how exactly "Über sieben Brücken" actually came about.

This soundtrack of life revisits the decades - in an entertaining show on a three-part stage with a reading corner, concert stage and theater scenery.
