Once upon a time... or something like that. A self-absorbed would-be prince embarks on a journey to conquer your lovely Princess Marit von Valdalla - for the Magical Sing Along of all things. But the princess has a mind of her own and has no desire to be conquered by Prince Cringe... er Prince Charming.

Unfortunately, the prince is a little clumsy and is immediately rejected by Marit. But that's not all: the next stroke of fate is already waiting for her. Because the wise Merlin prophesies that Princess Marit of Valdalla will marry a commoner. And while the prince begins to sabotage the big day out of offended vanity, the commoners set out to win the princess's heart in exciting contests.
