Marthe and Mathilde live as friends in Alsace. Two wars have tried to separate them, because Marthe is French and Mathilde is German. Pascale Hugues tells the unusual story of her grandmothers. The actresses Petra Weimer (Stuttgart) and Catherine Javaloyès (Strasbourg) will portray the two women in German and French respectively.
