Martin Meixner Hammond Night • Vol. 6 • Feat. Schriefl, Röser, Ditzner

With the sixth edition of "Hammond Night", the sought-after Stuttgart keyboard specialist once again invites you to an atmospheric concert at BIX. This evening has the potential to be categorized as "I have to go there, come what may".

These four musicians have never been on stage together in this constellation before, but the musical orientation of these protagonists is a highly creative mixture - individualists through and through.

With his virtuoso, highly emotional keyboard playing, Martin Meixner has become an integral part of the German music scene and is the spiritus rector of this concert series. He is joined by the exceptional trumpeter Matthias Schriefl with Allgäu roots, who consciously and humorously breaks down genre boundaries in his musical, multi-instrumental work.

Uli Röser, also an accomplished border crosser and "preacher" on his instrument, and Erwin Ditzner, one of Germany's most creative drummers, complete this quartet with its strong character. Together, the two have traveled half the world with the cult brass band "Mardi Gras.bb" in the 2000s.
