Mefo in Concert

Afro-pop with committed lyrics and lots of energy: Mefo celebrates diversity.

In her songs, Mefo names global injustice, demands equal opportunities and motivates people to empowerment. She sings about death and forgiveness, love and sharing and for a new consciousness that incorporates traditional African values into global emancipation.

Mefo is at home in Cameroon and Germany and is a regular guest at international music festivals in various constellations. She sings at the Linden Museum, accompanied by John Thobe on guitar.

Afterwards until 1 a.m.: Afrobeat, R&B and reggae with DJ Jeff

Before the concert, there will be an opportunity to take a guided tour of the "Where is Africa?" exhibition at 6 pm.
