On Sunday, October 18, 2026, the Mercedes-Benz Museum will become a gathering place celebrating 140 years of automotive history. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., this major event will showcase vehicles from Mercedes-Benz’s history. The event spans the spectrum from the world’s first automobile, the 1886 Benz Patent-Motorwagen, to the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL “Gullwing” (W 198), and on to the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class of the 223 series. Engine starts, test drives, expert talks, vehicle presentations, a pit stop challenge, and an immersive S-Class experience make the day a treat for the whole family. The new Mercedes-AMG GT SUV will also be on display for the first time following its world premiere the night before.

Numerous food stands throughout the event grounds will offer a variety of culinary delights and refreshments. Radio partner DIE NEUE 107.7 will host the day’s events. Admission to the entire outdoor event program is free.

Regular admission prices apply for an additional visit to the permanent exhibition at the Mercedes-Benz Museum.
