Migration und rechte Gewalt in den USA

Location:
Hotel Silber, Dorotheenstraße 10, 70173 Stuttgart
Date
June 10, 2026, 7:00 PM

A lecture followed by a discussion on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 6 pm at the Erinnerungsort Hotel Silber will focus on migration and right-wing violence in the USA. Speaker Janina Selzer is Visiting Assistant Professor in Sociology at Hamilton College, NY. Birgit Kipfer will moderate.

The attack on immigrants is a litmus test for democracy. The United States is currently at a crossroads: in a nation that was once a world leader in refugee protection, rights violations are on the rise, laws are being eroded, and harsh immigration policies threaten both vulnerable populations and democratic principles.
