Min Bark: "On the Art Of Home" - Vermittlungsangebot
- Location:
- LABYRINTH Kulturzentrum, Urbanstraße 64, 70182 Stuttgart
- Date
- January 13, 2026, 10:00 AM
Min Bark's works deal autobiographically with family, home and violent uprooting. The cultural education program is aimed at professionals in the field of social work.
After a tour of the exhibition, visitors will work out references to the exhibited works in conversation with Min Bark. By making small fabric dolls, the themes of the exhibition are given artistic space.
Min Bark turns the biographical void into an artistic resource, physicality into a political language and memory into a spatial experience. Her art does not demand simple answers, but creates moments of deep reflection on what defines us - and what we are missing.
Bark (*1979, Andong) is a German artist with South Korean roots. In the 1980s, she was one of the children given up for adoption abroad by the South Korean government on the basis of forged documents.
