freie bühne stuttgart is the professional theater in Stuttgart where people with disabilities can work professionally as artists. The interdisciplinary artistic management team at fbs has been working with physically and cognitively disabled artists since 2013 with the aim of using artistic means to examine issues, experiences, perspectives and the attitude to life of people with disabilities as part of our social interaction and to present them to the public at established cultural venues in Stuttgart.
To this end, freie bühne stuttgart works in a dense network of collaborations with facilities and institutions in the fields of culture, education and disability support in Stuttgart and the region.
