Mourning [A] BLKstar:
Mourning [A] BLKstar is a multi-generational, gender and genre non-conforming black culture collective dedicated to sharing stories and songs about America's unfolding apocalypse. Their music combines live instrumentation with hip-hop production, creating sonic frequencies that illuminate the African diaspora. Founded in Cleveland, the Afrofuturist Collective continues to tour worldwide in Europe and the US, playing festivals such as Crossing Borders in Berlin with Lonnie Holley, the Big Ears Festival and Le Guess Who? in Utrecht.
