PARIS AT NIGHT
Mozart wrote his concerto for flute and harp in 1778 in Paris, where the harp was the instrument of high society. Almost 150 years later, Paris was Europe's jazz capital. The creativity of musicians from all over the world was combined with the cultural tradition of France. In the jazz section of this night owl concert, famous French composers will be heard, Joseph Kosma with "Les Feuilles Mortes", Martial Solal, Michel Petruchiani and above all Michel Legrand. His Oscar-nominated film music for "Les demoiselles de Rochefort" alone, with the ballad "You Must Believe In Spring", has made it into the "Great American Songbook" as one of the most beautiful ballads in jazz history.

The NACHTSCHWÄRMER CONCERTS combine the BIX jazz club with the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra. This is about composed and improvised music, music for classical symphony orchestra or jazz trio, for string quartet and jazz quartet.
The Gustav-Siegle-Haus will be open from 18:00. The BIX restaurant will be offering drinks and snacks, and a jazz band will be welcoming guests from 19:30. At 20:30, the event continues in the main hall of the Gustav-Siegle-Haus with the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra, followed by live music in a relaxed jazz club atmosphere in the BIX.
