The orchestral fireworks in Gustav Holst's "Planets" suite are met by a new groove jazz project with a lot of soul and the fitting name Jazzoul as a Southern German premiere.

The idea was the brainchild of Ingolf Burkhardt, one of the most creative and renowned jazz trumpeters in Germany, and Meinhard "Obi" Jenne. The band was born in collaboration with a fantastic saxophonist, Thorsten Skringer. Luc Hatzis can be experienced on the groovy bass. Hannes Stollsteimer on piano and keyboards is already known from Passport bassist Wolfgang Schmid and from the band of the new jazz superstar Jakob Manz.

Captivating grooves, improvised jazz, excursions into Latin and soul, original compositions with depth and maximum fun.

The NACHTSCHWÄRMER CONCERTS combine the BIX jazz club with the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra. This is about composed and improvised music, music for classical symphony orchestra or jazz trio, for string quartet and jazz quartet.
The Gustav-Siegle-Haus will be open for this from 18:00. The BIX restaurant will be offering drinks and snacks, and a jazz band will be welcoming guests from 19:30. At 20:30, the event continues in the main hall of the Gustav-Siegle-Haus with the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra, followed by live music in a relaxed jazz club atmosphere in the BIX.
