NEUNUNDNEUNZIG are returning from the fog this year. With the "Nichts Für Immer" tour, the Austrian duo will present a new chapter this autumn.
Four years, numerous solo projects and release fragments, hypes and two tours now lie between the band's first joint album "99 in dein Herz" and its already completed follow-up.
The romantic, melancholic tone of their debut, which was released in the midst of the pandemic, has given way to a new sobriety. Replacing the fairytale-like figurative characters Nicki Papa and Saiya Tiaw, their alter egos AMANDUS 99 & DANZINGER 99 take the helm on "99 Nichts Für Immer" with a noticeably tougher hand. The duo's new songs no longer move in a cloud; they scurry across the asphalt floors of Vienna, Paris and Bucharest.
NEUNUNDNEUNZIG are now bringing this new sound to life on stage in ten cities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on their upcoming tour after a successful premiere as a live quintet last festival summer. Band founders Leonidas Braith and Ilja Danzinger will be joined by Stefan Raschbacher (bass), Miriam Jochmann (piano & synths) and Moritz Kolmbauer (drums).
After years of fragmented performances, the "Nichts Für Immer" tour promises to create the densest experience yet in the NEUNUNDNEUNZIG cosmos, where their yearning sound unfolds and their constant play with identity and staging can be experienced on the stage edge of pulsating clubs.
