Country music? In the USA, a new generation is changing the supposedly familiar genre. Names such as Jason Isbell and Katie Crutchfield are representative of song lyrics that break taboos, question traditional role models, explore personal abysses and confront social realities. In the event series "Songs & Stories am Neckar", U.S. singer-songwriter Maik Bo shows that the country genre has far more to offer than campfires, idyllic country life and highways into the sunset. Library director Michael Reisser will host the evening and will also pick up a guitar. - Seating is limited: Registration is requested!
