Because they want to know what they are doing: together with the Goethe Institute Vilnius and the LENsemble Vilnius, Musik der Jahrhunderte has initiated a workshop for young composers from autocratically governed countries in Eastern Europe. The works of the workshop participants will be premiered at ECLAT.

Because they want to know what they are doing: together with the Goethe Institute Vilnius and the LENsemble Vilnius, Musik der Jahrhunderte has initiated a workshop for young composers from autocratically governed countries in Eastern Europe, enabling them to exchange ideas with European musicians and, above all, to situate their work in the context of current aesthetic debates. Almost all of them come from Lithuania's neighboring country, are still too young and too hopeful for exile. It is therefore not only the works that are imaginative, but also the names of the composers.
