What happens when an artist not only sings, but also writes stories? Nils Strassburg, one of the most internationally recognized Elvis interpreters of our time, answers this question in a way that surprises audiences and critics alike. With tours through Germany, France, Austria and Switzerland, Strassburg has already conquered countless stages - from large concert halls to renowned international venues. But now he is opening his book "Living Elvis - My Life for the King" and taking his audience on a very personal journey: humorous, direct and surprisingly close.

At Songs & Stories, reading meets concert. In musical blocks, well-known classics as well as rarely performed pieces by Elvis Presley are played - newly arranged and interpreted with a selected band. In between, Strassburg reads passages from his book, tells of his first encounters with the King, of doubts, of family and of all those moments when life suddenly became so much more than a show.

This reading is not a rigid format, but a lively entertainment: there is singing, talking and laughter - and sometimes even the greatest legends suddenly find themselves in the spotlight of their own memories. A special part of the evening is also an open dialog: Meike Buschening-Kaffenberger, known to many from the VOX show Zwischen Tüll und Tränen (Between Tulle and Tears), joins Nils Strassburg in conversation. Together they open up the space for an honest, spontaneous exchange - between music and stories, between stage and audience. The result is a lively dialog in which there is also room for questions that otherwise
often remain unspoken: personal, approachable and sometimes surprisingly touching.
