What is civil courage? How does it express itself? How do we behave as individuals in a society that is radicalizing to the right? These questions are currently becoming increasingly urgent.

"Her death as a dancer had already occurred in 1933"
(quote from "Verstummte Stimmen", Metropol Verlag, Berlin 2008)

In this performance, the intermedia ensemble explores the lives of three Stuttgart musicians and one dancer: Karl Adler, Lore Fischer, Hermann Reutter and Suse Rosen. Using dance and media elements, the performers pick out moments from their lives and link the rooms of the former Gestapo headquarters to create a performance designed as a tour. The Hotel Silber thus serves as a starting point for a confrontation with questions of our contemporary civil society.
