Nora: Breaking the dollhouse - Wiederaufnahme 2026
- Location:
- Theaterhaus, Siemensstr. 11, 70469 Stuttgart
With "Nora: Breaking the Dollhouse", the silent ladies_ bring Henrik Ibsen's Nora into the present day and give this theater classic a queer-feminist twist.
What does marriage mean today?
What does "they lived happily ever after" look like in reality?
For women* and queer people, marriage is still not a neutral contract, but a system that is often tailored to men*: from taxes to inheritance to "Who cleans, plans, cooks what and who actually looks after whom here?"
Marriage remains a contract that does not treat everyone equally.
With three players in an abstract world, the silent ladies_ humorously turn the doll's house upside down and ask:
What could come instead of marriage?
