A concert evening with the International Choir of Stuttgart e.V. (ICS)
Once Upon A Song, or: Once upon a time there was a song - behind this title lies a musical journey across the film and theater stages of the 20th century. The main protagonists are the International Choir of Stuttgart e.V. (ICS), based in Degerloch, under the direction of Georg Benz.
An evening full of stories that invite you to join in the excitement awaits you: Get dressed up (Puttin' on the Ritz) and dream A Million Dreams (The Greatest Showman) with us, get creeped out by the Phantom of the Opera and revel in the music of The Evening Blessing from the opera Hansel and Gretel. Perhaps you are also a fan of The Threepenny Opera, West Side Story or Pocahontas? No?! Then rest assured: we will do everything we can to make each of these stories palatable to you!
In any case, musical enjoyment is guaranteed, not least by the soloist Fabian Brandt, who will enrich the concerts with his captivating acting and expressive tenor. The choir and soloist will be accompanied by a small band (Julia Anna Koch, piano; Maik Merle, drums, etc.), which will certainly not leave the choir and audience unmoved!
