Paris Hot Five, „Nuit de Vin et Musique“

Paris Hot Five takes us into the vibrant nightlife of the bars and cabarets in Paris from the 1930s to the 1950s.

Jazz giants such as Django Reinhardt, Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington were at the height of their success, thrilling their audiences and preparing the (dance) floor for swing, lindy hop, balboa and Charleston.

Christian Ther on accordion, Joachim Norz on guitar, Volker Kaulartz as clarinettist, Julian Jochen on bass and singer and guitarist Alex Wiemer make every place swing and provide the perfect soundtrack for all foot tappers and finger snappers.

With an unmistakable musical melange, the quintet transports its audience to this legendary era of exuberant joie de vivre. If you don't dance here, it's your own fault.
