Findus, the cat with a penchant for pancake cakes and three birthdays a year, is at the center of this endearing story. But when Pettersson discovers that the flour for baking the cake is missing, a series of misadventures and entanglements begins. The attempt to get flour leads to a comical odyssey in which Pettersson is confronted with a flat bicycle tire, a locked shed without a key and a surprise encounter with a bull. The situation escalates when the villagers think Pettersson is crazy while he tries to arrange everything for Findus' birthday cake.
