The fox chases after the mouse, through the cellar window, around the corner, through a narrow corridor. And then the two of them suddenly find themselves among many shelves and even more books. "This is a library," explains the mouse. "Pippi ... what?" asks the fox. But then he takes a liking to the books - even if he has to learn to read. A chicken, of all things, helps him! Whether it's chicken bones or magic spells, there's something for everyone in the library. And amidst the books, fox and chicken even make up.
