The long-awaited seventh studio album, “Beweggründe”—which was made possible through crowdfunding—was released on August 28, 2026. Featuring new songs and popular hits, POHLMANN will embark on a tour of the same name in October and November 2026, visiting 18 cities. POHLMANN first gained widespread recognition in 2006 with “Wenn jetzt Sommer wär.” After six singles and 20 years later, he released “Beweggründe,” an album that ranges from energetic to fragile, and at times humorously seeks stability and conviction in times when we must confront our own contradictions. Live, what’s already palpable on the record becomes even more tangible: POHLMANN doesn’t just sing—he tells stories, laughs, reminisces, and spontaneously questions things.
